You prepare your whole life for big moments, sometimes not even realizing it, as it is naturally part of you and follows suit as your passion. I recall when I was growing up how I would put on one of my mom’s fashionable outfits and high heel shoes and walk down my grand staircase pretending to wow the audience. I loved listening to my mom’s ABBA eight tracks and my kid’s records, which as technology advanced upgraded to a white Sony tape deck and Discman where I would wear out the rewind button trying to learn all the melodies and lyrics to the songs. Music and fashion has always been my zeal, and fortunately I was able to weave them together, with a career in fashion at Holt Renfrew and continue to sing and grow in the avenue of music.
