A Heart Snapshot

You prepare your life for “Defining Moments” sometimes without even realizing it. Genevieve’s passion for music & flare for fashion have always been a part of her. She remembers dressing up as a young girl, accessorized with high heels and jewelry pretending to wow the audience. She wore out the rewind button on her white Sony tape player as she would learn all the songs & melodies and create her own original tunes. Genevieve recalls the times when her siblings would put on a concert together in front of their fireplace, each would participate in their own area of expertise, for Genevieve it was to joyfully lead worship. Her youngest brother would play the keys while her little sister would speak with her tiny white flowered Bible. Her brother, who produced & recorded the Now Moments of Worship Live Album, would set up speakers and microphones and record it all. Genevieve's enthusiasm to inspire through song sparked within her, as she graced the stage at 7 and hasn't stopped since. She's taken her music around the globe, in Africa, England, Greece, Israel, Wales and Canada sharing her heart, story & song and was delighted to be aired on 100 Huntley Street & The Miracle Channel. Her first book, Through It All is a powerful reflection of God's healing & grace as Genevieve's transparency shines through within each page.

 

Fast Forward to NOW >>>she adores being an Early Childhood Music Educator and inspiring the next generation through the universal language of music. She is honored to be a part of the Springs Church Calgary Worship Team and to eloquently speak & sing from her heart. Genevieve’s dream became a reality when she released her first live worship album, Now Moments of Worship alongside her inspirational songs, Dancing on His Footsteps, Begin and Existence. She continues to put her creativity into motion and is excited to launch more music projects in hopes to bring awareness to mental health as well as, weave other stories of courage that resonates her genuine compassion to bring value and worth to those around her.

Her love is shared with her devoted husband Derek and precious daughters, Hope & Paige. They love to travel and make memorable memories together.
